About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in the design and delivery of mechanical systems for both new construction and renovation projectsprimarily in mission-critical environments. You will work on multi-discipline projects, collaborating closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to deliver innovative, code-compliant, and constructable designs. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with clients to understand project goals, constraints, and success criteria.
- Develop and evaluate design solutions, providing insight into tradeoffs and helping guide decision-making.
- Lead the development of mechanical system design documents, including equipment selection, construction drawings, specifications, and energy modeling.
- Coordinate efforts across all engineering disciplines to ensure a fully integrated and accurate design.
- Act as the primary client contact, managing expectations and maintaining clear communication throughout the design process.
- Support construction activities by responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, and conducting site inspections as the Owner's representative.
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and best practices.
Qualifications
7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in the MEP industry.Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (Master's a plus).Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.Proficiency with Revit preferred; experience with additional design software a plus.Proven ability to coordinate across disciplines and manage complex projects.Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience.Why Join Us?
