Job Title : Senior Tax Accountant OR Senior Tax & Advisory Accountant

Location : Wake Forest, NC

Position Type : Full-Time | On-site

Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for businesses and individuals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. tax regulations.

Engage in a team-based approach to tax planning and strategy, providing high-value insights to clients (training provided for strategy process).

Collaborate with team members to manage deadlines, client projects, and workflows.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients by offering proactive tax solutions and recommendations.

Conduct tax research and stay up to date with U.S. tax laws, applying changes as needed.

Participate in team discussions regarding firm strategy, contributing to priorities and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

CPA or EA certification, or actively pursuing certification.

3+ years of progressive experience in tax preparation and accounting within a CPA firm.

Experience working with small to medium-sized businesses and high-net-worth individuals.

Proficiency in S corporation, partnership, and individual tax returns.

Strong accounting background and familiarity with various accounting systems.

A positive, humble attitude with a strong passion for client service and collaboration.
