JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is for a full-time welder with experience. Applicants must be able to weld assemblies, plan and layout welding sequence, and read blueprints. The position involves welding components for commercial construction equipment, including tanks, enclosures, and other parts.

The position is 1st shift; hours are 6a-4 : 30p Mon-Thurs with occasional overtime on Fridays depending on workload.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 years experience production MIG welding or welding certification / degree
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to read tape measure and blueprints
• Ability to perform simple math calculations such as fractions to solve manufacturing / assembly issues
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment, achieve productivity goals, and be familiar with the quality standards

You must have a basic knowledge of measuring, blue print reading, and weld test. Candidates will weld parts from 16 ga. to 3 / 8 inch thick material.
