Billing Director

The Billing Director will lead and manage the full revenue cycle function for an ABA organization ensuring accurate Medicaid behavioral health billing claims processing and timely reimbursement. This role requires deep understanding of Medicaid requirements denial management and payer guidelines specific to behavioral health services.

The ideal candidate is highly organized proactive and able to oversee billing workflows supervise staff and collaborate with leadership to strengthen financial performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the complete billing and collections cycle for ABA services

Ensure accurate and timely Medicaid behavioral health claims submission

Monitor aging denials and reimbursement trends

Implement policies to optimize billing efficiency and compliance

Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve discrepancies

Generate reporting for leadership and support financial strategy

Supervise and develop billing staff

Qualifications :

35 years of Medicaid behavioral health billing experience required

Strong knowledge of ABA billing payer rules and state Medicaid guidelines

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Excellent communication analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
