Electromechanical Field Service Engineer

Pay rate : $55 - $59.65 / Hourly

• M-F 7 : 30 - 4 : 00 CST HYBRID

The team is looking for an Electromechanical Field Service Engineer with at least 5 years of experience with hardware & programming. Not open for recent grads.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Travel to customer sites (12 weeks / year) across the U.S. to :

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on industrial inkjet printers and production line equipment.

While on-site at the Mendota Heights, MN location :

Service and troubleshoot equipment.

Handle customer support calls.

Work on software and PLC firmware bugs to improve equipment performance.

Required Skills

5+ years of programming experience.

5+ years of hardware experience.

5+ years electronic troubleshooting

Strong mechanical skills.

3+ years with hands on experience with PLC and HMI programming.

Soft Skills :

Excellent customer care and communication skills.

Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Strong team collaboration within the service team.

Nice to Haves

Experience with Yaskawa PLCs.

Experience with C# and .NET

Education :

Minimum - Associate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering required.

Prefer B.S. degree in electronics / electrical engineering.
