Your Role And Responsibilities

At ABB, we help important industries outrun - leaner and cleaner. In this role you will :

  • Operate CNC machine / manufacturing processes in a safe and organized manner.
  • Need basic manufacturing / quality knowledge. Assuring quality parts are produced.
  • Trained to make minor offset adjustments at floor management direction.
  • Be familiar with and use dispatch list at floor management direction.
  • Be flexible, and work effectively as a member of a work team / cell.

Qualifications For The Role

High School Diploma / GED required

  • Minimum of three (3) months to six (6) months of related experience and / or certification or training in such things as CNC machining is preferred.
  • Language Skills :

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Reads and interprets documents like safety rules and instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills :

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
