Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Management Analyst / Consultant to support the Department of Navy (DoN) and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) in Washington, D.C. This is a full-time, onsite position located at the Washington Navy Yard.

You will be working with a team of consultants to provide specialized accounting and financial management to government clients. This role combines independent tasking with daily collaboration across teams and clients.

Key focus areas include :

• Supporting complex financial Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution (PPBE) and programmatic issues
• Developing and executing DoD budgets and annual financial spend plans
• Performing account analysis / reconciliation, variance analysis, financial tracking, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advising clients on key financial and operational issues
