Healthcare Insurance Authorization Supervisor

CenterWell Home Health is seeking a Supervisor to oversee daily authorization activities for our home health services.

Pay Range

Base salary : $65,000 - $88,600 per year.

Shift / Availability

Monday–Friday, 7 am – 7 pm EST.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily authorization activities to ensure maximum efficiency and adherence to standards and procedures.

Maintain assigned portfolios at acceptable levels and ensure all authorizations are within established time frames.

Provide guidance and direction to staff, covering all aspects of authorization standards and processes; initiate correspondence with insurance companies.

Offer assistance to management at branches on authorization issues.

Develop and implement plans to meet authorization objectives.

Maintain provider manuals and patient information updates, and manage related logs.

Keep abreast of authorization regulations / requirements and communicate changes to relevant personnel.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of healthcare authorization experience.

Experience in a supervisory or lead role.

Knowledge of collections and accounts receivables procedures preferred.

Effective communication skills.
