The Senior Firewall Administrator must be able to meet the key criteria below :

Location : Hybrid-Remote. The role will require travel as needed to NCUA locations located in Alexandria & Sterling VA; Phoenix & Tempe AZ and Austin TX. Minimal travel is anticipated and otherwise role is able to be performed remotely.

Years Experience : 10 years of professional experience in Network Administration with focus in Firewall Administration

Education : Bachelors degree in information technology or related field or equivalent professional experience

Security Clearance : IBR is a federal contractor. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance issued by the National Credit Union Administration. This agency handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.

NOTE : United States Citizenship is required as part of the eligibility criteria to be able to obtain this type of security clearance.

Key Skills :

• Strong knowledge of PaloAlto firewall technologies excellent troubleshooting skills and familiarity with network security solutions
• Experience leading the installation configuration and maintenance of PaloAlto firewall devices as well as Cloud firewall configurations.
• PaloAlto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification is preferred

Position Overview

As a Senior Firewall Administrator at IBR you will play a key role in providing support for managing and maintaining the National Credit Union Administration programs Firewall infrastructure (currently PaloAlto). This role involves overseeing the deployment configuration and support of PaloAlto firewall devices ensuring optimal performance security and availability.

The expected salary range for this position is $135000 $165000 USD annually.
