Position Description

Position Summary

The Vice President of Innovation is responsible for driving innovation and leading transformative initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on developing and implementing forward-thinking strategies identifying emerging trends and leveraging new technologies to foster growth and advancement. The Vice President of Innovation plays a critical role in cultivating a culture of creativity and continuous improvement while shaping the organizations long-term strategic direction.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovation strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to drive business growth and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to design and execute innovative projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate innovation into business planning and decision-making processes.
• Establish and manage partnerships with external stakeholders including startups research institutions and industry experts.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends competitor activities and market opportunities to inform innovation strategy.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to assess the impact and success of innovation initiatives.
• Oversee research and development efforts ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Promote and facilitate ideation sessions and workshops to generate new product and service ideas.
• Manage the innovation budget allocating resources effectively to prioritize high-impact projects.
• Communicate innovation strategy and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop talent within the organization to build a strong innovation capability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards throughout the innovation process.

Work Environment

Physical demands :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the primary functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to frequently stand walk sit bend twist talk hear and perform repetitive motions. There may be prolonged periods of sitting keyboarding reading as well as driving or riding in transport vehicles. Specific vision abilities required by this job include reading distance computer and color vision. Talking and hearing are essential to communicate with clients vendors and staff . Overnight travel may be from time to time.

Mental demands :

There are a number of deadlines associated with this position. The employee must be able to handle frequent interruptions and must also multi-task and interact with a wide variety of people on various and at times complicated issues.

Background Investigation :
