Night Transportation Manager

A global food distributor is looking for a Night Transportation Manager to lead a high-performing team, champion safety, and deliver best-in-class service to our customers. You'll oversee daily transportation operations, inspire and develop your drivers, and ensure every delivery is on time, safe, and cost-effective. If you're a leader who thrives in fast-paced distribution environments and can turn operational challenges into wins, we want you behind the wheel of our transportation strategy. This role is for an overnight shift, 10 : 00 PM to whenever the work is complete, Monday to Friday.

Compensation : $80,000 to $90,000 + 10% bonus

What You'll Do :

• Lead and inspire a diverse transportation team, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Champion safety-first operations, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company policies while driving proactive accident prevention measures.
• Build and develop talent by hiring, training, and coaching drivers and staff to consistently exceed service, safety, and performance goals.
• Troubleshoot and optimize delivery operations, reducing waste, streamlining processes, and improving on-time performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, sales, and customer service teams to align transportation priorities with overall business goals.
