Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist

Responsibilities

This position uses their occupational therapy expertise in the area of functional performance to assess a patient's level of independence, establish attainable goals, and develop / implement a patient-specific treatment plan so that patients are able to achieve their highest level of functioning for activities of daily living.

Qualifications

We Require

Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy with 6 month clinical internship

Washington State Occupational Therpay License

CPR Certification

Additional knowledge and skill requirements : working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, wound healing, and disease progression; an understanding of the base components, both physical and cognitive, of ADLs (assisted daily living) and levels of ADL independence; the ability to customize, adapt, and graduate to a home or work site environment or to adapt to a given treatment plan and equipment; and excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
