- A TEKsystems client is seeking an Infrastructure Applications Engineer or "Systems Engineer". The Infrastructure Applications Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, planning, testing, implementation, and administration of the Information Technology (IT) infrastructure and security applications. Participates in a team environment that provides cost-effective IT infrastructure application services to the various business units. Works closely with other areas to insure optimum reliability and cohesiveness.
- Work location is in downtown Tucson. This is a hybrid work environment. However, Tuesday and Wednesday must be on site.
- Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.
Required
Successful applicant should have these skills :
Technical
- Strong general troubleshooting skills between server and client computers.
- Knowledge of Active Directory architecture and maintenance, including :
o Troubleshooting replication issues when they occur.
o LDAP authentication, setting up and troubleshooting.
o DNS and WINS administration and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, at least two years.
- Familiarity with alerting platforms.
- Knowledge of Windows-based server operating systems, including Windows Server 2016
- Ability to troubleshoot remote access (RDP), including RDP for remote administration and terminal services.
- Applicant must have strong communication skills, including written, email, documentation, and verbal.
- Knowledge of server-based applications and their dependencies.
- Familiarity with Exchange.
- Familiar with common network protocols, basics of switching and routing.
- Familiarity with enterprise ticketing systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Non-Technical
- Must have project management skills.
- Must be able to work successfully and productively on their own, as well as in teams.
- Successful applicant must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience with regulatory requirements, for example, SOX, PCI, and / or HIPPA.

- Preferably has experience working in an enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with enterprise Infrastructure Applications, including :
o Enterprise batch scheduling software.
o Cisco ACS.
o RSA.
o Splunk.

o Skype For Business (previously Lync).
o SharePoint 2010.
