Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Engineering Intern to join our Environmental services team in Ft. Worth, TX. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients. This is an entry level position that will be involved in various assignments that continue to develop abilities in areas of specialty.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work as a member of the environmental team under the direction of the Environmental Service Leader primarily in support of various projects. Job duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Conducting site investigations to gather data on potentially contaminated sites to include all phases of planning and ensuring that proper documentation is completed for all stages of the project : soil boring and monitoring well installationmonitoring well developmentwater and soil samplingvapor samplingsediment samplinganalyzing and interpreting site datarecommending remedial actions
• Research and evaluation of data
• Conduct field reviews and other assessments
• Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, exhibits, and presentations
• Take personal responsibility for quality of tasks performed
• Performs routine analysis to check accuracy of data and work products
• Ensures division, regional, and company values, policies and practices are consistently followed within the survey service
• Lead by example – display solid judgment, good values, trust, honesty, openness, and professionalism
