Want to work for a brand new and exciting facility?

Our new assisted living facility in St. Petersburg is looking for a part time maintenance director!

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check screening
  • Flexible work schedule, willing to work irregular hours and shifts including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player with complete knowledge of safety in the workplace
  • Ability to work with job-related tools
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Excellent attendance, time management, and attention to detail
  • Thorough knowledge of state and local codes
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment background check screening

  • Knowledge of healthcare facilities - preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of electrical, plumbing systems and fire systems

Benefits

  • Pay : From $19.00 per hour
  • Weekends as needed

    • Responsibilities

  • The Engineer position is a behind the scenes role that is responsible for the day-to-day general maintenance at each of our facilities
  • This position requires physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, stooping, reaching and ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair
  • Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs
  • Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed
  • Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician
  • Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures
  • Performs routine maintenance on building systems
  • Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities
  • Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
