Position Summary :
M echanics work under minimal supervision to perform turret / spindle alignments PM tasks such as trouble shoot lubrication system hydraulics bar feeders etc. trouble shoot controls issues etc. able to diagnose and repair most any NC mechanical issues; pull and replace ball screws hydraulic and pneumatic issues. Able to complete any task given related to facility maintenance demonstrating expertise in plumbing and general carpentry and numerous tasks involved in facility related issues. Demonstrating the ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics while serving as either a mechanical or technical SME.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adheres to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Correctly interpret work orders
- Lift up to 45lbs
- Able to work overtime as needed
- Work in a team environment i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
- Assist in maintaining inventories (critical parts supplies etc.)
- Perform all levels of facility maintenance tasks
- Perform all NC maintenance
- Perform intermediate NC repairs (Replace Ball Screws etc.)
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
