Job Summary

WEC Business Services, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a detail-oriented, results-driven Accounting Analyst to support our Corporate Accounting and Financial Systems team. The position will primarily support the accounting close and its associated systems.

Job Responsibilities

• Subject matter expert regarding Month-End Close for both GAAP and FERC accounting
• Serve as monthly accounting close lead for all of Finance and others that contribute to the close
• Serve as a System Admin for Blackline and Smart Close software
• Manage system users, access, and master data
• Communicate system outages, changes, and upgrades with users
• Collaborate with information technology team to troubleshoot system issues and to maximize use of information systems
• Participate in testing, training, and implementation of system enhancements, new functionality, and upgrades / releases
• Work with various departments within Finance and throughout the company to gather data for the month end close to validate completeness and accuracy of Financial Statements
• Prepare and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist with yearly regulatory reporting and rate cases

Pay Range Minimum : $58,172.14

Pay Range Maximum : $115,399.18

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary / pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
