Senior Systems Engineer, MBSE Modeler

AgustaWestland Philadelphia Corporation is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer MBSE Modeler for its offices in Philadelphia PA

Job Description :

Provide technical expertise to a team of systems engineers in the development of our Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) approach to digital engineering transitioning from document-based environments into a product-centric integrated digital enterprise. Develop MBSE processes and methodologies for deployment across the Leonardo enterprise defining the best practices for model-based systems engineering and digital workflow integration. Create and maintain guidance and training materials to establish consistency and reuse across core systems engineering capabilities including architecture modeling and requirements management. Support the development of enterprise infrastructure to establish authoritative sources of truth for requirements management and system architecture. Coordinate amongst enterprise SMEs sites and project teams to capture use cases develop resources and support adoption of digital engineering capabilities. Develop and maintain system models and databases for multiple project teams. Prepare presentations to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical professionals. Position may be eligible for part-time telecommuting within the area of intended employment. Domestic and international travel required up to 10% of the time.

Job Requirements :

A Bachelors degree or the foreign equivalent in Systems Engineering Aerospace Engineering Aeronautical Engineering or a related field plus 6 years of experience in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 2 years in a systems engineering role.

The required experience must include the following :

• Two (2) years of experience using the Systems Modelling Language (SysML).
• Two (2) years of experience with naval and / or aviation systems and operations and / or air vehicle platforms in the aerospace and defense industry.

Certifications

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.

Demonstrated knowledge

OR

A Masters Degree or the foreign equivalent in Systems Engineering Aerospace Engineering Aeronautical Engineering or a related field plus 4 years of experience in an engineering discipline with a minimum of 2 years in a systems engineering role.
