At Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, we are passionate about patient care! We provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries and has earned The Joint Commission’s Respiratory Failure Certification. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized treatment throughout Utah and some areas of Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Nevada.

Responsibilities
Assists in the service of meals for patients, visitors, and staff. Diet Aide may be responsible for any of the following tasks : unpacking and visually inspecting food stock; preparing, pouring, and portioning food; carrying heavy trays, pots, etc.; delivering meals to patients; maintaining sanitary work environment and food handling; cleaning workstation area and equipment; washing dishes, pots, silverware, etc. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
