As a Security Officer - Healthcare Facility Patrols PT in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. Your presence will play a key role in supporting a positive atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Report and document any suspicious activity, security-related incidents, or hazards observed during patrols or while on duty.
  • Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances, checking credentials, and maintaining awareness of authorized and unauthorized individuals in the area.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal training.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at the location, including staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
