The College of Health Professions at Mercer University invites applications for a full-time faculty member for the Doctor of Psychology Program. This position is for a tenure-track faculty in a progressive and innovative department that emphasizes evidence-based treatment and an integrative approach to healthcare and interaction with our other partner programs (Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Public Health, Athletic Training, and Kinesiology).
Responsibilities include doctoral student classroom instruction and evaluation; small group supervision; advisement and mentoring of students; admissions and accreditation activities; committee involvement; and scholarly activities to include publications, grants, presentations, and collaborative projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, clinical training, and student mentorship within a practitioner-scholar model and have a strong research orientation with established or potential for extramural support. Qualifications :
Qualifications include a degree from an APA-accredited PhD or PsyD Clinical Psychology program and completion of an APA-accredited internship. Active, unrestricted license to practice as a clinical psychologist in Georgia or immediate eligibility required. Prior experience teaching, supervising, and mentoring graduate students is preferred.
The demonstrated ability to teach graduate courses is required in either and , or foundational theories of psychotherapy, evidence-based interventions, and
A background in clinical neuropsychology, with the ability to teach and , is desirable.

This position will be a 12-month, tenure-track appointment based at Mercer University’s Cecil B.
