Physician Assistant Supervisor - Internal Medicine - Full Time Days

We’re seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant Supervisor to play a key role in shaping the future of behavioral health care. This pivotal position blends direct patient care with leadership responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across our Psychiatry service line.

In this role, you will :

Perform history and physical examinations. Establishes a presumptive diagnosis

Performs a general work-up including the ordering of appropriate laboratory studies.

Lead and support Physician Assistants through :

Training and onboarding

Scheduling and coverage coordination

Staff development and mentorship

Partner with the Service Chief and attending physicians to drive departmental initiatives focused on :

Quality improvement

Patient experience

Operational efficiency

This position is a day shift position, Monday - Friday.

Required Criteria

Bachelor's or master's Degree in physician assistant studies

Current NYS licensure

NCCPA certification

DEA certification

Minimum 5 years of related previous experience

BCLS Certification

$180,000-$216,000 / Annual
