Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in either Tukwila or Everett Washington .

This position will encompass management of Supply Chain Management Analysts Materials Management Specialist for both production parts and materials as well as Tool Services.

Position Responsibilities :

• Leads a team of hourly Materials Management Specialists marshal resources across the Supply Chain to include salaried Supply Chain Management Analysts
• Partners with Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) Supply Chain Fulfillment MSC&O Transportation Warehousing & Logistics and GXO Logistics in a fast pace high energy environment while leading an Injury & Incident Free team culture that also maintains compliance to FAR / DFAR contracted business systems audited by the DCAA / DCMA with additional SOx controls
• Manages and integrates employee activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation
• Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Acquires resources for projects and processes; leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of functional approaches products and processes
• Manages develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 2nd shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Summary pay range : $107950 - $133350
