Position Overview

The Billing Manager will oversee all billing operations lead a team of billing specialists and ensure that our processes are accurate efficient and client-focused. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to step into leadership contribute to meaningful process improvements and position themselves for future advancement within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Provide day-to-day guidance training and mentorship to billing specialists

Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Billing Operations Management

Oversee invoice preparation accuracy compliance and payment tracking

Maintain consistent reliable billing workflows aligned with company standards

Client Relationship Support

Serve as a trusted point of contact for client billing inquiries

Address and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

Process Optimization

Identify opportunities to improve billing efficiency and accuracy

Implement best practices and support continuous improvement initiatives

Reporting & Insights

Prepare and analyze billing reports for internal stakeholders

Provide data-driven insights to help inform financial and operational decisions

Department Planning Support

Assist with the development and oversight of the billing department budget

Contribute to strategic planning as the company grows

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or related field - or equivalent experience

2-3 years of billing or related finance experience

Demonstrated leadership or team development experience

Strong understanding of billing processes and key accounting principles

Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Excel

High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
