Job Description

Ohio Therapy Centers / Core Medical Group location is looking to expand its medical team and is looking to hire a Full-time Medical Assistant / Chiropractic Assistant. As a Medical Assistant / Chiropractic Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure, efficient operation of the medical office. You will support our orthopedic physician and Chiropractor and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality, and in a timely manner. Experience in physical medicine, pain management, orthopedics, or chiropractic is a plus! This is a Monday- Friday position and the ideal candidate will have the ability to work until 6 pm Monday-Thursday. No Weekends or Holidays and your weekend starts on Friday at 1230pm! Hourly rate of pay based on education, work experience, and excitement for your position! NEW GRADS are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and document basic medical history
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Update and file medical records
• Arrange x-ray and laboratory services
• Check with patients and type up patient's charts and office summary.
• Assist during medical examinations
• Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

Skills

Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary

Knowledge of medical procedures

Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Social perceptiveness and service oriented

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and planning skills

Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software

Degree or certificate in medical assisting
