Geographical Information System (GIS) Analyst

Location : Portland, Oregon

Salary range : $78,091.00 to $97,614.00

Job Summary

This position helps maintain the company's Geographical Information System (GIS). Supports all geospatial data-related changes / enhancements. Supports Senior and Lead GIS Analysts with guidance from the Director of GIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests for GIS support as assigned or otherwise guided by the Lead GIS Analysts and / or Director of GIS.
• Manage queue of requests via the Onshore GIS Request process.
• Create, review and manage geospatial data and metadata.
• Perform simple to intermediate level geospatial analyses to support the business.
• Follow established procedures and best practices as administered by the Lead GIS Analysts and / or Director of GIS.
• Contribute to documentation of repeatable workflows and best practices.
• Contribute to updates and enhancements of web- and mobile-based GIS solutions.
• Create, update, and administer cartographic products in various formats to support internal and external customers.
