job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerform designs, requirements, validation, & verification for cockpit avionics for various special operations programs Perform requirements-based testing, robustness, and ad-hoc testing in a lab environment Support cross-functional team development with both external customer stakeholders and internal software and hardware engineering teams Perform investigations of the client's lab hardware and environment, including integration investigations of different client interfaces Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field 1+ years of relevant experience in systems, hardware, firmware, or avionics engineering Experience using TNT, DOORS, PREP, Jira and / or Microsoft Office Suite Working knowledge of data busses and protocols, including Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553B, and ARINC-429
Our client, a leader in aerospace & defense manufacturing, is looking to hire an Avionics System Engineer to join their team in Cedar Rapids, IA! This will be fully onsite.
- This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits!
As an Avionics Engineer , you will support external customer stakeholders and internal software & hardware engineering teams with the design, validation, and verification testing for cockpit avionics in the Special Operations Aviation military programs.
