Procurement Contractor - Marketing & Sales Support

Location : Cambridge, MA / Hybrid (8 days / month) - EST Time Zone if remote

Duration : 6 months (beginning at earliest possible start)

Pay Rate : $96 to $110 / hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist category managers in managing procurement activities for marketing and commercial services (e.g., agencies, media, market insights).
  • Support sourcing events including RFP development, bid analysis, supplier negotiations, supplier management activities, and contract lifecycle tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and documentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate records in procurement systems and track contract status.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve operational issues promptly.
  • Conduct benchmarking, supplier research, and spend analysis using procurement tools and available data.
  • Provide reporting and analytics on spend, supplier performance, and project management timelines.
  • Track contract renewals, expirations, and troubleshoot issues with POs, invoices, SOWs.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in marketing categories.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry compliance and procurement processes is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in procurement tools and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Sense of urgency with quality delivery.
  • Customer-centric mindset.
  • Demonstrated project coordination and follow-through.
  • Problem‑solving and process‑oriented approach.
  • Discretion handling confidential information.
