Overview :

The Mobility Technician is responsible for assisting clinical staff and members of the interprofessional healthcare team as assigned under the direct supervision of clinical staff within inpatient setting. This position performs delegated activities that include but are not limited to patient mobility infection control processes assisting patients in practicing exercises or functional activities transporting patients to and from treatment areas inspecting and maintaining equipment and a variety of basic clerical functions supporting clinical staff in successful provision of treatment plans.

Department Overview : This unit cares for Medical and Surgical oncology patients in an inpatient 36-bed unit. The unit is both an oncology unit and intermediate care! We are hiring compassionate Patient Care Technicians to support our nursing team with chemotherapy and hospice patients.
