Lead Web Applications Developer

Allen Park, MI (hybrid)

This company, a growing firm in the logistics, printing, and fulfillment industry, is looking for a Lead Web Applications Developer to take ownership of and expand their web applications. You will ensure their stability, scalability, and ongoing feature development as they expand their capabilities, opening the door to new opportunities.

Position Description

The main goal of this position is to take ownership of their web applications development, giving it the focus needed to make it more secure and scalable, opening up new revenue opportunities. As of today, they’re maintaining the system, and now they need it enhanced for growth.

Responsibilities include :

Lead development and maintenance (oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of the web application systems).
Full stack work - build, enhance, and optimize applications with PHP / MySQL (Backend) and Vue / Bootstrap (Frontend).
Cloud infrastructure management and monitoring (AWS).
Systems integration with outside products (Shipwise, Enfocus, Adobe, etc.).
Security and compliance (SOC 2).
Troubleshooting, bug fixing and documentation.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in full stack development (PHP, Vue 3, MySQL).

Strong knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and Version Control (Git).

Proven experience taking the lead for full web application solutions, taking ownership of all aspects.

Experience building secure, scalable CRUD applications.

Knowledge of API integration and RESTful services, along with security compliance.

Solid communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to customers.

Compensation :

100,000-120,000 / year, plus bonus.
