Infectious Disease Physician - San Francisco Bay Area

We are currently looking for a BC / BE  infectious disease  physician   to join our well-established  infectious disease  practice in  Walnut Creek, CA  within the multispecialty network known as BASS Medical Group.

• The incoming provider will work alongside 9 physicians, 1 nurse practitioner, 2 registered nurses, and a tenured support staff, ensuring  operational efficiency
• Our physicians provide the  full scope of infectious disease care , and split time between 5 local hospitals on a rotational basis for the majority (4.5 days) of the week, and the remainder of their time is spent in our outpatient clinic
• In the hospital, our physicians treat immunosuppressed patients with fevers, surgical patients with fevers and / or sepsis, pneumonia, cellulitis, and more
• In the clinic, our physicians see about 16 patients per day for viral hepatitis, HIV, PrEP, bacterial and fungal diseases, coccidioidomycosis (valley fever), and more; our patients also have access to an on-site infusion center

Beginning with approximately 50 doctors in the Walnut Creek area in 2014, we have grown to 465+ providers across 42 specialties in our 128 locations throughout Northern California, and look forward to expanding our reach in the future.

The salary range for this role is $230,000-250,000 in base pay and  exclusive of any bonuses or benefits . The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
