Mid-Senior Level Healthcare Associate – Tampa

Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join a leading national law firm with a premier Health Care Practice Group based in Tampa . This highly regarded group represents physician practices, telemedicine companies, and a wide range of health care entities, as well as venture and private equity investors in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Ideal candidates will have :

4–6 years of health care regulatory and transactional experience (up to 8 years may be considered)

Deep knowledge of federal and state health care regulations and how they impact transactions and daily operations for health care industry clients

Strong drafting skills and experience managing complex matters

A collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring junior attorneys

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to thrive in a sophisticated, team-oriented environment and contribute to the long-term goals of a nationally recognized health care practice. Prior experience at an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to work closely with senior partners and clients.

Requirements :

JD from an ABA-accredited law school

Active bar membership in good standing (Florida Bar admission required or must be obtained in a timely manner)

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills

Compensation :

The expected salary range for this position is $290,000 – $390,000 , with the final offer dependent on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
