Security
The security position is part of the Facilities Team and is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our senior living community.
Key Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The Security position is responsible for :
- Providing a highly visible status to residents and potential intruders to foster a sense of safety.
- Operating wireless communications equipment between Security Guard and office.
- Observing video monitors.
- Patrolling hallways, building and parking lot to ensure it is well lit and resident vehicles are locked.
- Ensuring that all doors are secured and locked in the evening.
- Responding personally to location to satisfy needs of the residents and personnel.
- Adhering to established safety procedures. Maintaining a current list of emergency numbers.
- Keeping record of residents entering and leaving premises after front doors are locked.
- Answering incoming phone lines when office is closed.
- Maintaining confidentiality of resident and community information.
- In the event of emergency, assisting local emergency personnel within the facility as needed.
- Responsibilities include customer service, resident safety, and communication.
