Excel Data Processor

Contract through 2025 with likelihood to extend

REMOTE or Hybrid 3 days / week in St. Paul, MN

Position Notes : This role is contract only and can be 100% remote. The manager is looking for an executor, not necessarily someone highly experienced. If this individual can come in and prove that they are a doer and can be very productive, there is a strong chance of contract extension into 2026.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Excel Data Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, entering, processing, and structuring data using Microsoft Excel. If you're someone who enjoys working with spreadsheets and takes pride in accuracy, this could be the perfect fit for you.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver timely outputs.
  • Develop and implement efficient data management practices.
  • Enter, clean, and validate large volumes of data in Excel with high accuracy.
  • Use formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, and other Excel functions to organize and prepare spreadsheet data.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Stay organized while juggling multiple tasks.
  • Provide status updates to ensure critical project deadlines will be met.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, plus Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • You're confident with Excel formulas, lookups, and pivot tables are tools you know well.
  • You pay close attention to detail and like getting things "just right."
  • Strong communication skills for reporting status you can keep stakeholders informed with clear updates on progress, findings, and next steps.
  • A team player mindset you enjoy collaborating and helping others succeed.
  • Ability to stay organized while handling multiple tasks or large datasets.
