The Utah State Developmental Center (USDC) is looking for energetic applicants to fill a Food Service Worker II position in our Cottage Café.
Principle Job Duties
The responsibilities of this position are as follows but not limited to :
- Preparing, cooking and serving food without waste and to meet budgetary and quality assurance expectations.
- Meeting required Federal, State, and County Health Department food service regulations and OSHA standards of health, safety and sanitation.
- Providing training and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who work and eat in the Cottage Café.
- Serving customers at the front counter by taking orders and running the cash register.
Minimum Qualifications
A current Utah County Food Handlers permit and maintain certification.One or more years of prior work experience in the food industry.Prior experience working with the intellectually disabled.This position requires you to be able to lift up to 50 pounds or 1 / 4 of your body weight, whichever is less with or without a reasonable accommodation.Why Join The Cottage Cafe Team
