CNC Programmer / Drafter

Job Description

As a CNC ProgrammerDrafter, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining CNC programs, creating new ones, and optimizing existing programs. Your role will also include drafting professional drawings for our clients and the manufacturing team. You will work in a high-production manufacturing facility and must demonstrate a commitment to safety, teamwork, and effective communication. The qualified candidate will be considered for on-the-job training in CAD Drafting, assuming background and experience requirements are met. Create setup instructions for CNC operators. Study blueprints, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate setup sequences. Keep detailed records for equipment and procedures. Observe each machine to verify quality performance. Draft mechanical drawings using CAD software, primarily AutoCAD. Collaborate with project coordinators and the design team on project drawings. Prepare submittal packages with product information, details, and elevation drawings. Manage and organize the CAD drawing library for ongoing projects. Skills Required

HS Diploma or GED. 1+ yr exp programming CNC machines or similar vocational training. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office. Exp in architectural or mechanical drafting. Exp with CNC mills and routers. Skills Preferred

Construction knowledge is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
