The Company is in search of a Head of Marketing who is a dynamic blend of creative and analytical. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design and execution of strategies that are pivotal in driving customer acquisition, retention, and brand awareness. This hands-on, entrepreneurial role demands a professional with a keen sense of taste, a strong work ethic, and the ability to translate ideas into tangible, measurable outcomes. The Head of Marketing will be at the forefront of content development and strategy, PR and partnerships, email marketing, customer delight marketing, growth campaigns, performance marketing, and analytics and experimentation. Collaboration with the Chief Growth Officer and cross-functional teams is essential to the growth of the company's brand and user base.
Applicants for the Head of Marketing position at the company should be prepared to take on the challenge of building the marketing engine for a two-sided consumer marketplace. The role requires a minimum of 4-7 years of marketing experience, with a preference for those who have a background in both brand and performance / growth marketing. A strong understanding of digital channels, including paid, social, email, and content, is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing successful campaigns across various channels, leading to significant revenue growth and customer acquisition. Being organized, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial is a must, as is the ability to communicate effectively and to be creative and resourceful in the face of ambiguity. Experience in tech, consumer, or marketplaces is a plus.
