Position Summary :

The Production Operator performs a variety of tasks in a full-scale manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include following procedures and conducting quality inspections on production lines and parts. The role requires working on a team to develop process improvements related to product quality, cost and scheduling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Performs routine manufacturing assignments that are repetitive to non-repetitive production operations.
  • Reads and follows product and manufacturing specifications.
  • Helps maintain accurate and up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Collaborates and communicates with team members, supervisor and other departments to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Ensures work is on time, of high quality and meets customer needs.
  • Understands specific department metrics and strives toward achieving goals.
  • May be required to perform safe handling and / or place hazardous materials in proper containers.
  • Demonstrates positive attitude toward safety and area cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Minimum Qualifications – (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure) :

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

    • Physical Demands and Work Environment :

  • The employee may be required to stand 8+ hours a day.
  • The employee may reach with hands and arms, stoop and kneel.
  • The employee consistently performs repetitive motions including eye and hand coordination.
  • The employee may be required to lift, carry, push, pull or move up to 10 pounds. Occasionally lifts up to 30 pounds.
  • The employee may work in a restricted space and sometimes the environment will have temperature changes.
  • The employee may occasionally be exposed to solvent fumes.
  • This position may require more than 40 hours per week.
  • Work environment can be noisy and distracting.
  • This role is 100% onsite.
