Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant is a member of the executive team, providing personal administrative support and assistance to AFJ's President in a fast-paced nonprofit environment. Reporting to the President, this position plays a key role in managing workflow and board communications, scheduling meetings, and coordinating calendars, and sharing internal information to ensure efficiency among staff.
As the Executive Assistant will be dealing with a lot of personal information specific to the individuals you are working for. You may be privy to confidential emails, financial information, etc. You will also be likely to be privy to confidential company information.

BA degree or equivalent work experience;
Compensation
The starting salary range is $70,000-$78,000, based on experience. AFJ also offers a comprehensive and generous benefits program including :

This is a non-exempt position that has no direct reports.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m.

Job Location
Currently a hybrid office / remote with staff expected to be on site (if based in Washington, D.C.) 1-2 days a week.
