Wieland is hiring a Quality Control Technician . The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for performing inspection upon receipt of materials and recommends disposition. Reviews finished products to conformance of Mechanical Prints. Performs and Audits in process checks to assure compliance with procedures and ASME Code regulations. Must be or become CI (Certified Individual) certified within 90 days in this position as well as Liquid Penetrant certified. Works in conjunction with other departments to meet goals of safety, quality, cost, and delivery. This role is located in Delaware, OH and will be fully on-site.

Starting Pay : $27.98 per hour, with compensation adjusted based on experience and qualifications.

1st Shift Schedule : Mo nday -Thursday (6 : 00 am-4 : 30pm)

Responsibilities

Quality Control Technician Responsibilities :

Understand and adhere to company Quality Control procedures, as related to overall inspection requirements. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cooperates with production personnel and supervision to ensure maximum production with optimum quality, as established by management.
• Inspects incoming, in-process, and outgoing material, parts, and assemblies to specifications and Mechanical Prints following standard shop practice and / or special instructions.
• Performs specific calibrations, specific tests, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and records the results.
• Initiates NCR's and communicates with vendors to resolve issues.
• Preparing QCP documents for Authorized Inspector activities.
• Maintain National Board number list
• Creating data reports on EDT
