Overview :

Wesley Behavioral Health Services is seeking a passionate, proactive, and relationship-driven individual to join our team as a Community Liaison. This role is key to fostering connections between our organization and the local community, expanding our outreach, and helping to bring in new clients who can benefit from our behavioral health services. The Community Liaison will represent Wesley Behavioral Health Services at community events, build partnerships with local organizations, and network with stakeholders to raise awareness of our services and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

• Community Engagement : Build and maintain strong relationships with local community organizations, schools, healthcare providers, churches, businesses, and other entities to create opportunities for collaboration and to increase visibility of Wesley Behavioral Health Services.
• Networking & Outreach : Attend local community events, meetings, and conferences to promote services, increase brand awareness, and generate new client leads.
• Client Acquisition : Actively identify and engage with individuals and groups who may benefit from behavioral health services, with an emphasis on bringing in new clientele and connecting them to the appropriate resources at Wesley Behavioral Health Services.
• Resource Identification : Continuously assess community needs and inform Wesley Behavioral Health Services leadership about emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities for service expansion.
• Partnership Development : Develop partnerships with key community stakeholders and referral sources to ensure effective client referrals and collaborative care.
• Marketing Support : Assist in the development and distribution of marketing materials and resources that effectively communicate the range of services offered by Wesley Behavioral Health Services.
• Advocacy : Advocate for behavioral health resources and services in the community, raising awareness of mental health challenges and reducing stigma associated with seeking care.
• Reporting & Documentation : Track and report progress on outreach and networking efforts, documenting successful partnerships and potential new client connections.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education.

Previous experience in community outreach, marketing, or networking, ideally in the behavioral health field or a related human services field.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse groups.

Knowledge of the local community and key stakeholders within the area.

Self-motivated and able to work independently, while also being a strong team player.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Knowledge of behavioral health services and mental health resources is a plus.

Ability to travel within the local community as needed.

Preferred Qualifications :

(English / Spanish) preferred, but not required.

Previous experience in a liaison, outreach, or public relations role.

Pay : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours : 15 per week
