Accounts Receivable Representative

We are searching for a hard-working Accounts Receivable Representative to join our Amazing team!

This position consists of following up on all patient account balances. This individual will assist by collaborating with patients and insurance companies to ensure that all procedures are paid correctly and within a reasonable timeframe .

This position is Full-Time : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.

Responsibilities :   not to be considered all-inclusive

• Review Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) from insurance companies for accuracy
• Call insurance companies regarding claim status
• Call patients regarding their account balances
• Calculate discounts on contractual services
• Send patient correspondence letters regarding accounts
• Request documentation from offices as needed for insurance companies
• Document all activity on patient accounts in the computer’s contact notes
• Re-file insurance claims as needed
• Research and complete insurance and patient requests as received in mail
• Research refunds and initiate requests
