IDS International is looking for a full-time Armed Security Guard to support our contract overseeing the Truman Presidential Library in Independence, Missouri and will report to our Program Manager. 32 Hours / week Night shift Responsibilities :

• Maintain a high level of visibility at all times and surveil visitors in the Library and Museum for suspicious activities.  Patrol the interior and exterior of the facility, as well as monitor a closed-circuit television feed to prevent unauthorized access and limit other incidents.
• Secure and monitor access points during hours of operation, search bags as needed and monitor visitors throughout the facility.
• Guards will register guests into the research room and ensure rules and protocols are followed.
• When required, detain violators and prepare detailed incident reports.
• Attend and provide security during special events and VIP visits involving high profile government officials.
