Schedule : MondayWednesday Friday : 8 : 45 AM 5 : 00 PM Thursday : 7 : 45 AM 4 : 00 PM (may vary)

Shift : Day

Pay Rate : $22$24 / hour

Position Overview :

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting job in Flushing NY.

Responsibilities :

Prepare patients for examinations; record vital signs and medical history.

Assist physicians and nurses during procedures and exams.

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.

Maintain clean well-stocked and organized exam rooms.

Document patient information accurately in the EMR system.

Schedule appointments coordinate follow-ups and manage patient flow.

Comply with infection control and safety procedures.

Deliver professional compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications :

Education : High School Diploma or GED required; completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program required.

Certification : BLS certification required; Medical Assistant Certification (AAMA-CMA AMT-RMA or equivalent) preferred.

Experience : Minimum 1 year as a Medical Assistant (2 years preferred); EMR experience required; Gastroenterology or outpatient clinic background preferred.

Skills : Strong phlebotomy and lab skills excellent communication organization and multitasking abilities with a commitment to patient service and reliability.
