Aerospace Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections across various stages such as Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections of aviation parts from details to top assemblies. While aerospace experience is not mandatory, it is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections for Receiving, First Article, In-Process, and Final Inspections on aviation parts.
• Understand visual and cosmetic standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators.
• Write inspection and nonconformance reports.
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review supplier certifications for conformance to requirements.
• Collect data for statistical analysis.
• Interpret tolerances and understand the application of precision measuring instruments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seal Beach, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 / hr.
