Work Schedule :

100% FTE, 40 hours / week. 8-hour day shifts. Direct patient care, clinical and didactic education occur Monday Through Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM. Quarterly weekend and annual holiday assignments. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking an Acute and Critical Care Occupational Therapy Fellow to :

• Become well versed in acute care occupational therapy with advanced clinical skills for evaluation, assessment, and treatment of various diagnoses in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in appropriate discharge planning and goal setting for patients and families as a trusted advocate as they progress through their hospital stay.
• Participate in didactic learning modules to further growth and knowledge in a specialized setting.
• Challenge their own and other staff member's clinical decision making through constructive feedback in didactic units and case presentations to advance the role of occupational therapy in acute care.
• Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to carry out evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes for patients.
• Receive and modify practice patterns based on constructive feedback from mentors.
