Accounts Payable Clerk

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial operations and excellent organizational abilities. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, contributing to the efficiency of our accounting department.

Responsibilities :

• Process and verify invoices to ensure accurate coding and timely payments.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.
• Manage check runs and payment distributions in alignment with organizational policies.
• Perform data entry tasks with precision to support the accounts payable function.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or similar tools to streamline workflows.
• Assist in maintaining organized records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations in all financial transactions.

Requirements - Minimum of 1 year of experience or exposure to accounts payable operations.
