Per Diem Journeyman Electrician
We are seeking two Journeyman Electricians to oversee and manage three construction projects, including two at Eagle Airport and one in Vail. The projects at Eagle Airport consist of a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) and a hangar, while the Vail project involves seven multifamily buildings with a garage, using prefabbed units.
Responsibilities include managing and overseeing construction projects at Eagle Airport and Vail. Run layout and ensure project completion according to preplan. Coordinate and troubleshoot construction and installation tasks. Utilize hand tools and interpret blueprints for effective project execution. Ensure compliance with commercial construction standards.
Essential skills include experience in construction and commercial projects. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Skilled in troubleshooting and installation tasks. Journeyman Electrician license in Colorado or a reciprocal state. Ability to manage and lead construction teams effectively.
Additional skills and qualifications include knowledge of electrical systems and commercial construction techniques. Experience with prefabbed units and multifamily building projects. Ability to work with hand tools and manage project timelines.
We offer housing at the Green Tree Hotel in Vail, providing extended stay suites equipped with kitchens and two beds per room. Additionally, employees receive a $50 per diem for each 8-hour workday, promoting work-life balance and flexibility.
The Journeyman position involves working 40 hours per week, with potential for up to 50 hours depending on project needs. The work environment includes managing projects at Eagle Airport and Vail, utilizing commercial construction techniques and hand tools in a collaborative team setting.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT. The pay range for this position is $55.00 / hr.
