Group Leader (Richmond Terrace)

JOB SUMMARY Responsible for supervising and guiding children and adolescents for our JCC / Compass programs.

ABOUT YOU You should be familiar with all JCC programs, embrace the agency’s mission, have excellent communication skills and experience working with youth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO Assisting the activities specialist / teacher of the activity you are given for the hour Assisting the children of your assigned group with their snack Attendance of participants in your group Overall supervision of children in their group Assisting with Homework help Facilitating certain activities such as plays, talent shows, games etc.

Following all health department / DOE guidelines OUR REQUIREMENTS Experience working with youth Organized and exhibit follow through on tasks and goals Must be 18 years of age or older SALARY $17-$22 Hourly, commensurate with experience ABOUT US The Jewish Community Center of Staten Island was founded in 1929 with the goal of creating a home for the Jewish community by offering social, recreational, and educational activities.
