GENERAL JOB SUMMARY :
The Program director for the Diagnostic Assistant / Radiological Technology Program is a full-time faculty position that provides both academic leadership and instructional support. This role is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the program, including curriculum development, accreditation compliance, course scheduling, faculty oversight, and partnership development. The director collaborates with internal departments and external clinical affiliates to ensure the program remains aligned with current professional standards and workforce needs. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the director teaches within the program, advises students, and supports their academic and professional growth. This position requires a dedicated and organized educator with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, student success, and continuous program improvement.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES WITH / WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION :
Position involves sitting and / or standing most of the time in a classroom / laboratory setting. Constant (67-100%) reaching, standing, walking, lifting, dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions and viewing various types of close visual work. Frequent (34-66%) stooping, kneeling, crouching. Travel to other on-campus facilities and clinic sites. Occasional (10-33%) lifting up to 50 pounds.
May potentially be subject to bio-hazardous waste, hazardous chemicals, moveable mechanical parts, fumes, odors, dusts and mists.
It is expected that faculty teaching in clinical settings comply with HIPAA, OSHA, CPR, immunizations as outlined in clinic contracts.
